Middleton, NH: Cheryl Vigue, 55, of Middleton, died following a courageous battle with cancer on March 11, 2012.

She was born in Rochester on June 21, 1956, the daughter of Carroll and Jayne Cardinal, and spent her childhood years in Farmington.

Cheryl enjoyed visiting her brother’s camp in Errol, taking pictures of nature, hiking and fishing with family and friends.

She was a long time member of the Post 7 American Legion in Rochester, where she had many wonderful memories and close friends.

She is dearly missed and loved by her family and the many friends who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Glen Vigue of Middleton; brother, Dale Cardinal and wife Nancy of Farmington; three sisters, Robin Carpenter and husband Mike of Littleton; Cathy Grondin of Lancaster; Debbie Richards and husband Mike of New Durham; brother-in-law Scott Vigue and wife Kathy of New Durham; and many nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, Carroll and Jayne Cardinal.

According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

In Cheryl’s memory, please send a donation to the Seacoast Cancer Center, Wentworth Douglass Hospital, 789 Central Ave., Dover, NH 03820. Arrangements are in the care of the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, NH.
