Rochester, NH: Norris A. Young, 68, died Sunday April 15, 2012, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH after a period of failing health.

Norris was born in Rochester, NH on May 26, 1943 the son of Norris H. and Flossie (Auclair) Young and had lived all of his life in Rochester. Prior to his retirement he worked as a production Manager for Spaulding Composite Manufacturing in Rochester. He was a 1061 graduate of Spaulding High School, and enjoyed his motorcycle and loved working in his machine shop.

Surviving members of the family include: his wife, Sharon (Breton) Young of Rochester, one son Brett Young of Rochester, two daughters, Kellie Gilligan of Sidney, Montana and April Minor of Rochester, six grandchildren, James Pennell, Scott Pennell and his wife Stephanie, Zackery Gilligan, Brittney Young, Dakota Gilligan and Devin Newman, two great-grandchildren, Riley Pennell and Ainslee Pennell, one sister, Joyce Murray of Rochester, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, NH on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home.
